My most sylish shoes are the orange polka dot ones I bought last summer. They are cute and fun to wear, but not high fashion. I am no shoe-fashionista. My current shoes of choice are my three year old Danskos. My shoe fashion knowledge pretty much all comes from either Zappos or Project Rungay. That’s where I saw these Alexander McQueen shoes.
They are so interesting to me, I can’t stop looking at them. Even if I could never actually consider wearing them. And what the heck would I wear them with? My jeans? No, these are not shoes for mere mortals to put on their feet. And I’m pretty sure they are very uncomfortable and hard to walk in. But yet, there is something about them that fascinates me and I can’t look away.

Sort of like a train wreck… Those are the most horrible contraptions meant to torture women’s feet that I can possible fathom.

They are a bit horselike. I wonder if they’ll catch on? I thought the world had gone a bit bananas with the colourful wellies in the city phase, but what do I know? i tend to keep buying DMs.

They must feel like hooves when you wear them. I know it’s not the same at all, but they remind me of the photos of seen of Chinese foot binding.

Lady Gaga wears a pair of these in the video for “Bad Romance.” They’re interesting.
